What is good for Asp.net developer alternative learning Android or Wordpress? [closed]

I am a .Net developer, having 2 years experience in ASP.net c#, sql, mysql, now my company provide me to learn new technology. They gave me two options ie Android or Wordpress (I know both are totally different things).

Also I found Android (Java) syntax little same as in c#, Wordpress also have good advantage in today's market (freelancing).

So I want someone to suggest me what to choose either to go for Android or Wordpress?
